What are your Support rates?

Our hourly onsite rate is £80 inc VAT per hour. This applies Monday to Friday 9.00 to 18.00.

We charge £1 per minute for remote support sessions. The minimum charge is £15 for the first 15 minutes then charged per minute from there.

Out of hours support is also available but is charged at £110.00 per hour inc VAT. Out of hours charges are applied before 9.00 and after 18.00 and at weekends.

Apart from Apple devices do you also repair PC and Android?

Yes! Although we started out initially repairing just Macs, now with our highly skilled team we repair Mac’s, Windows PC’s, IOS and Android devices. All repaired using high quality parts, quick turnarounds and of course with our meticulous attention to all repairs.

Is there a standard Call out fee?

No we don’t apply any callout fees. We just charge a minimum of one hour ( £85.00) and 15 minute increments thereafter.

Help!! I've spilt liquid on my device...Can you help?

Don’t panic….deep Breaths… Firstly, please do the following:

  1. Unplug the power adapter and any peripherals
  2. Keep the device off, don’t attempt to turn it back on to check if it works.
  3. Book an appointment with Mac to Life!

Using the latest tried and tested component level techniques, we aim to repair expensive internal parts rather than replacing them. This means a much more cost effective repair for our customers, all backed with our Mac to Life repair guarantee.

Do you offer collection and delivery for Device repairs?
Yes! We have always offered free collection and delivery of any devices for repair within London for our customers convenience. Just use our online booking page.
How do I make a payment for onsite services?
We ask for full payment on completion of services if you’re a new customer. We accept debit or credit cards onsite. Invoices will be provided for all completed services. 
When should I pay for my Mac repair?
We ask that you make payment for you Mac repair on completion and prior to delivery of your repaired Mac. You will be sent via email or text a link to make a secure payment. We accept credit or debit cards. 
How about appointment Cancellations?
Sure! Just please give us at least 2 hours notice if you wish to cancel. 
What if I make an appointment and miss it?
We will need to charge our minimum appointment cost of £80 for any missed appointments without prior notice. 
Do you charge a diagnostic fee for repairs?
We don’t charge a fee for diagnostics on any repairs of Macs, PC’s or handheld devices 
In the event that we diagnose the fault, quote for the repair and for the repair to be declined, a fee of £30 (£15 for handheld devices) will be applied to cover our technicians time. 
Is my personal data safe with Mac to Life?

Your data privacy is very important to us and we give our word that we’ll do all we can to keep it safe. Our policy is to never look at any data in more detail than is necessary to recover or repair it. We are GDPR compliant. 

Should I make a backup prior to repair?
Yes! You should always make regular backups regardless. We do ask that you please ensure all your data is backed up prior to collection where possible. Mac to Life will not be liable for any data loss during any repair.
