Our hourly onsite rate is £90+Vat per hour. This applies Monday to Friday 9.00 to 18.00.

Remote Support is charged at £60+ VAT per hour. .

Out of hours support is also available but is charged at £110.00 + vat per hour. Out of hours charges are applied before 9.00 and after 18.00 and at weekends.

Sorry no, we only repair Mac computers now. 

No we don’t apply any callout fees. We just charge a minimum of one hour ( £90.00+vat).

Don’t panic….deep Breaths… Firstly, please do the following:

Unplug the power adapter and any peripherals
Keep the device off, don’t attempt to turn it back on to check if it works.

Using the latest tried and tested component level techniques, we aim to repair expensive internal parts rather than replacing them. This means a much more cost effective repair for our customers, all backed with our Mac to Life repair guarantee.

 

Yes! We have always offered free collection and delivery of any devices for repair within central London for our customers convenience. (Pickup and Drop-off outside Zones 1-3 incurs a flat fee of £10)

We ask for full payment on completion of services if you’re a new customer. We issue an invoice with a payment link with facilities for credit card, debit card, Apple Pay and Android Pay. Invoices will be provided for all completed services.

We ask that you make payment for your Mac repair on delivery or collection of your repaired Mac. You will be sent via email or text an invoice with a link to make a secure payment. We accept credit or debit cards, Apple Pay and Android Pay

Sure! Just please give us at least 2 hours notice if you wish to cancel.

We will need to charge our minimum appointment cost of £90 for onsite missed appointments without prior notice.

We don’t add a diagnostic fee  on top of the repair fee for any repairs of Macs,

However, In the event that our technicians spend time diagnosing the fault, quote for the repair and for the repair to be declined, a fee of £30 will be applied to cover our technicians time.

Your data privacy is of utmost importance to us and we give our word that we’ll do all we can to keep it safe. We may  require a password to run tests for the display, camera testing, I/O audio tests and speaker tests only. In this event we ask guest account is created on your Mac for these tests. We never look at any customer data to recover or migrate it. We are GDPR compliant.

Yes! You should always make regular backups regardless. We do ask that you please ensure all your data is backed up prior to collection where possible. Mac to Life will not be liable for any data loss during any repair.
