One network for a country home.

This large rural farmhouse needed a complete upgrade to its connectivity infrastructure. With no existing structured data cabling, the site presented a complex mix of the main residence, outdoor areas and outbuildings. The brief included Wi-Fi across the property, data connectivity for an external EV charging installation and a connection to the solar battery management outbuilding, using Starlink for internet access.

The challenge

This large rural farmhouse needed a complete upgrade to its connectivity infrastructure. With no existing structured data cabling, the site presented a complex mix of the main residence, outdoor areas and outbuildings. The brief included Wi-Fi across the property, data connectivity for an external EV charging installation and a connection to the solar battery management outbuilding, using Starlink for internet access.

The installation

Following a full-site survey, we routed external-grade Cat 6 cabling discreetly along the building elevations to minimise internal disruption. Multiple Ruijie Wi-Fi 7 access points provide indoor and outdoor coverage, supported by a managed Ruijie router and the Starlink installation. Dedicated infrastructure runs serve the EV charging installation and solar battery management building, with external connections weatherproofed as part of the work.

The result

The farmhouse gained a coordinated network linking everyday Wi-Fi use with the property’s wider technology needs. The installation was completed in one visit, with no snagging reported, and avoided invasive work inside the existing buildings. Structured connections to the different parts of the site also provide a foundation for future additions.

Estepona

Two apartments. One connected home.

An interior designer-led renovation was combining two apartments into one luxury residence in Estepona. MTL joined when the project was already close to completion: walls were closed and decoration was underway. The brief was to provide Wi-Fi throughout the enlarged home without reopening finished surfaces or compromising the interior design.
